Our Mission


Our mission is to advance literary knowledge by conducting high‑quality research, fostering critical dialogue, and creating innovative educational opportunities. We preserve, analyze, and interpret literary works—especially Czech literature—while connecting them to wider international contexts. Through publications, events, and collaborative projects, we inspire academic and public audiences alike.
